Methodology — active public version
DTP-METH-0.1.0
This methodology is active for the first governed public Trust snapshot. Unknown dimensions are excluded from the weighted Trust calculation rather than treated as negative evidence.
Core scoring rules
- Baseline Trust score: 70 for a known dimension before signal impacts.
- Eight canonical Trust dimensions have equal methodology weight.
- Positive and negative verified signals adjust only their applicable known dimension.
- UNKNOWN dimensions contribute zero weight and are reported separately through Confidence and coverage.
- Trust, Confidence, Contextual Risk and identity verification remain separate outputs.
- Critical negative signal types can cap Trust at 25.
Critical signal types
- ACTIVE_MALWARE
- ACTIVE_PHISHING
- CONFIRMED_IDENTITY_FRAUD
- MAJOR_UNRESOLVED_BREACH
- CONFIRMED_MATERIAL_DECEPTION
